Charlie Burggraf

IMG_3608My name is Charlie Burggraf and I am a senior at The Ohio State University at Mansfield. I major in English and am expected to graduate this December. After graduation, I would like to pursue a career in Sports Journalism. My experience at Ohio State Mansfield has been great, and I would definitely recommend it to other potential students. One of my favorite things about this campus is the personal friendships between students and faculty. The professors of this campus are very approachable and work extremely hard to ensure that each and every student is gaining knowledge in their profession of work. I chose the Mansfield Campus for a number of reasons. My main reason for selecting this campus is the cost of tuition versus other campuses in Ohio; the cost is much more reasonable at Mansfield. While attending this campus, I have gained many friends with fellow classmates as well as building friendships with professors. I couldn’t speak enough about the experience I have had at The Ohio State University at Mansfield.           GO BUCKS!

Jessica Hudson

IMG_3611Hi! My name is Jessica Hudson. I am a non-traditional student entering my senior year (Finally!) and I’m working towards my English degree. I also will be pursuing my Business Administration degree afterwards. I have three children. I coach two soccer teams every fall and spring. I work 20-25 hours a week on top of it all. I’ve always loved Ohio State and refused to go anywhere else…Buckeye-for-life!! Years ago, I wanted to move to Columbus and enjoy the big campus life; however, looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. I would stay right here in Mansfield and get my degrees. It’s cheaper, closer to home so that I can be a mom, the professor-student interaction is like no other, and I just couldn’t ask for a more suitable place to go. I’ve built many relationships through the Mansfield Campus and I’m sure those relationships have helped me be a better person and student.

Joi Davis

My name is Joi DaviIMG_3615s. I am a third year student at The Ohio State University at Mansfield. I currently am working on my degree in English with a minor in Business Administration. This campus is very convenient for me. I like the classroom size and the interaction between professor and student. I have taken some courses that really pushed me to think about my future. I am a non-traditional student; I attended another college right after high school, but coming back after years away from the academy scene, I feel welcomed and even loved. So I am proud to be a BUCKEYE. As a non-traditional student I have major responsibilities outside of school. I have been married 13 wonderful years and we have two beautiful children. I would think I would stress with keeping up with my family, event planning business and attending college but this campus has allowed me to juggle all of my responsibilities even on a difficult day. This year I was able to take a course to help me build my business in a classroom setting and I am really appreciative of that opportunity. Mansfield is a great campus to attend and I am looking foward to my future!

Brenna Truax

FullSizeRender 2My name is Brenna Truax and I am a senior at The Ohio State University at Mansfield. I will graduate in May with a B.A. in English, with emphasis in writing, rhetoric, and literacy studies, and a minor in Professional Writing. I’ve spent my entire undergraduate career here at OSU-M, and I am lucky enough to be involved in both the Buckeye Ambassador program and the Writing Center (we have a book club going on right now that is very competitive if you’re interested). I spend some time on the Columbus campus as well, and I’ve never felt disconnected to the resources the Columbus Campus has to offer. At Mansfield, I give campus tours and help with events. I get to be a part of a community of people in a small class size environment and we have a lot of fun.
